I quickly set up profiles for the whole family and assigned devices to their profiles. This service is available for Rogers Ignite TV bundle customers.ĭownloading the app and signing in was a breeze. There’s only so many times you can threaten to unplug the modem before they catch on you’re bluffing because you actually need WiFi for your business.Ī couple of weeks after that conversation, I discovered (and promptly installed) the Rogers Ignite WiFi Hub and now I have my whole family’s WiFi usage right on my smartphone. With all these devices in my home connected to WiFi, there is no way I’d be able to keep up and manage my kids’ WiFi usage. Last month I was having a conversation with one of my best friends about how I had to sign the kids up for camp because I didn’t want them to spend the summer glued to a screen. I bet lots more cool features to come. It’s a summertime miracle! As a parent of four kids, I needed some extra help in managing my family’s WiFi use, but now with the user-friendly Rogers Ignite WiFi Hub, I can help them manage their online time while giving me peace of mind that they are not on devices all day. I’m a big fan and can’t wait to see how it progresses. Fantastic for sports because you just tell it what you want to watch and it finds that channel.

You can even lock it on there so your child can only see the Kidzone section. If you have kids the Kidszone is amazing. You can delete entire seasons of a show with one click which is nice. Want to watch a movie but don’t want to scroll through the guide to see what’s on? Just ask the remote “what movies are on right now?” It’s super cool. The great thing about that though is how customizable your experience is.įind a show you want to watch but it’s halfway through the episode already? Click the restart button (Or speak the word “restart” to the remote) and it starts from the beginning. It takes a second for each channel to load because it’s streaming through your internet connection. It doesn’t work like regular cable where you can just click click click through channels. It’s based on Comcast’s Xfinity system in the US so if you read reviews on that it’s basically the same thing.

I’ve had it for about a month and it’s pretty incredible. Yes! This is why I subscribed to the Rogers subreddit so I could wait for someone to ask about Ignite TV.
